Existing Portfolio Review
Most portfolios we see have twenty schemes doing the work of five. A review tells you honestly what to keep, what to exit and what to leave alone.
Un-clutter your portfolio
Over the years you may have accumulated a wide variety of investment products — stocks, mutual funds, bonds, fixed deposits, postal schemes, property, gold and other instruments. Some holdings may be dormant and kept for sentimental reasons. All of these add unnecessary clutter and duplication, and it is easy to feel burdened and helpless in front of a complex portfolio.
Our mantra is simple: keep it simple.
Revitalise the assets you already have
We begin by reviewing your portfolio and helping you make sense of it at a macro level — what you own, what it is doing, and whether any of it is connected to a goal you actually have. We then recommend the changes needed through a restructuring plan, help you implement it, and conduct regular reviews so that you never end up in the same position again.
What a review covers
Consolidation of scattered folios into a single view. Overlap and duplication analysis — it is common to hold six equity funds that own largely the same thirty companies. Cost analysis. Identification of holdings that no longer serve any stated purpose. And an exit plan that accounts for exit loads and capital gains tax, so that cleaning up the portfolio does not cost more than the mess was costing.
Objective, and in writing
A portfolio review from us optimises the balance between the risk you are taking and the return you can reasonably expect. Together with goal setting and risk profiling, it keeps your investments simple and easy to understand. You get the conclusions in writing and you are free to act on them or ignore them.
