We would rather hear about a problem than not. Most issues are resolved at the first step, but you are entitled to escalate at any stage, and nothing on this page limits that right.

AcknowledgementWithin 1 working day
ResolutionWithin 7 working days for most matters

Please include your name, PAN, folio number where relevant, and a description of the issue with dates. It helps us resolve things in one pass rather than three.

Level 2 — Escalate to the principal

If you are not satisfied with the response, or have not received one within 7 working days, write directly to Job J Neroth, proprietor, at job.neroth@sunshinefinancials.com, marking the subject line “Grievance escalation”. We will respond within a further 7 working days.

Level 3 — The AMC or product manufacturer

Where the complaint concerns a transaction, a folio, a statement or a scheme — rather than our own conduct — it may need to be raised with the Asset Management Company or the registrar holding the folio. Every AMC publishes an investor relations officer's contact details on its website and in the scheme documents. We will tell you who to write to and, if you would like, write on your behalf.

Level 4 — AMFI

Complaints relating to the conduct of a mutual fund distributor may be lodged with the Association of Mutual Funds in India, quoting our ARN (ARN-57874).

Level 5 — SEBI SCORES

If your complaint remains unresolved, you may lodge it on SEBI's SCORES platform, which routes it to the entity concerned and tracks it to closure.

SEBI advises that a complaint should first be taken up with the entity concerned, and lodged on SCORES if the response is unsatisfactory or absent.

Level 6 — SMART ODR

If you remain dissatisfied after exhausting the routes above, you may initiate online conciliation or arbitration through SEBI's Online Dispute Resolution portal: smartodr.in.

Insurance complaints

Complaints concerning an insurance policy should be raised with the insurer's grievance redressal officer first. If unresolved, they may be escalated through IRDAI's Bima Bharosa portal at bimabharosa.irdai.gov.in or to the Insurance Ombudsman for your region.

Reporting fraud or impersonation

We will never ask for your passwords, OTPs, net-banking credentials, card PINs or CVV, and we will never ask you to transfer money to a personal account. If anyone claiming to represent Sunshine Financials does so, please report it to us at once at services@sunshinefinancials.com and to the national cybercrime portal at cybercrime.gov.in or by calling 1930.

Our record

We maintain a register of complaints received, the action taken and the time to resolution, as required of registered distributors, and it is available for regulatory inspection.
